I have always loved playing the violin and from an early age my dream was to play professionally. It took hours of practice and expert teaching for me to achieve my aims, but it has been a labour of love that I am now able to share in my performances.

Born in Coventry, I started to play violin at school at the age of 8. I went on to study at Coventry School of Music and Birmingham Conservatoire, where I graduated with specialisms in Performing and Orchestration (arranging pieces of music). On graduating, I began a freelance career playing with Local, National and ad Hoc professional orchestras.

Following a successful start to my musical career in Britain, I moved to Paris, where I was appointed Co-Leader of Orchestre International de Paris, and Principal 2nd violin of Les Soloistes de Berry and Orchestre des Arts Florissants.

Since returning to the UK, I have played with a number of London and provincial orchestras, I toured with Scottish Ballet and English National Ballet, and have worked extensively playing in solo, duo and string quartet engagements.

I am a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians (MISM).

Providing Music for Special Occasions

It is my pleasure to provide beautiful solo violin music for marriage proposals, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, retirement gatherings, and other special occasions. I play at a volume where your guests can listen and can also comfortably hold conversations. I also have the capacity to raise the volume if required.
I work with my clients to make sure that I meet their requirements and make their event unforgettable. I also liaise with venues to ensure I have space to perform and time to set up and test any equipment I may be using.
I provide solo violin alone or with backing music. I have my own PA system. It is battery powered, which gives me the flexibility to play in places where there is no access to electricity.
My aim is to provide you and your guests with beautiful music that will add that extra special something to your day.
Thinking about music for your wedding?

Here’s a sample of how your day with me could work:

– Playing discreetly for your guests as they enter the church (or other venue).

– Playing beautiful music for you walking up the aisle.

– Keeping your guests entertained while you sign the register and take photographs.

– Playing a lively piece as you leave the church.

– Moving to the breakfast venue, I could play while you and your guests take photos and enjoy drinks before eating.

Other options are available.

Repertoire and Special Requests

I have an extensive repertoire of more than 500 pieces. This includes Popular Light Classical, Pop, Latin, Rock, Christmas, Easy Listening Standards, Film and Musicals, Disney, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s etc.
I am happy to locate the music for special requests, and learn it quickly, creating arrangements if necessary. I am easily able to play by ear too.

Playing at Events and Corporate Engagements

I have performed at large and small business events (Massey Ferguson and JCB equipment, Peugeot cars, Mercedes Benz). I work closely with the event planner to ensure that things are well co-ordinated, run to time, and the client receives a great show.

You may want to consider something subtle that guests hardly notice and that makes them feel calm. Music at meetings and business dinners enhances the atmosphere and my solo violin is quiet enough that people can hear their conversations.

Music is a great option for encouraging potential customers to relax and enjoy themselves, which is a great combination for doing business!

I can also raise the volume if required.

Please contact me for a no-obligation discussion to see how I can meet your requirements.
