Welcome to Debbie Lynne Music

I am a professional solo violinist, supplying music for Weddings, Corporate Events, and other special occasions.

About Me

I’ve always loved all kinds of music and playing the violin. Born in Coventry, I started to play violin at school at the age of 8.

I graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire, with specialisms in Performing, Teaching and Orchestration and went on to study with Raymond Cohen in London. I played with a number of professional orchestras and in corporate event groups, I also played music for special occasions with Classics Plus duo.

Following a successful start to my musical career in Britain, I moved to Paris to study further with the wonderful Alexandre Brussilovsky. I was appointed Co-Leader of Orchestre International de Paris, and Principal 2nd violin of Les Soloistes de Berry and Orchestre des Arts Florissants. I toured France, playing in beautiful chateaux during summer festivals and appeared on French TV. I also held a prestigious position as Professeur de Violon at the Candela Conservatoire.

On returning to the UK, I picked up my freelance career again playing with a number of London and provincial orchestras, touring with Scottish Ballet and English National Ballet, and playing solo, duo and string quartet engagements.

I am a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians.

Where I Have Performed

Here is a selection of some of the spectacular and beautiful locations where I have performed:

Events and Corporate Engagements

Providing live music at your event can be one of the most effective methods of keeping your organisation in people’s minds.

Live music is a way to create atmosphere and encourage potential customers to relax, enjoy themselves and spend money, which is a great combination for doing business.

I have performed at large and small business events (Massey Ferguson and JCB equipment, Peugeot cars, Mercedes Benz), product launches and anniversaries, and retirement celebrations.

You may want to consider something subtle that guests hardly notice and that makes them feel calm. Music at meetings and business dinners enhances the atmosphere and my solo violin is not intrusive, so attendees can easily carry on with conversations or take phone calls without having to leave the room.

I will help take away some of the stress of organising your event by working with you to get value from your booking, liaising with your venue and delivering great music.

Fees for Corporate Events and other Special Occasions – Please request a quote.

What type of music do you perform?

I offer an extensive repertoire of music that can be tailored to suit your event. From Vivaldi to Ed Sheeran, you will find the perfect music that will create the ambience you are looking for.

What type of events can I hire you for?

The violin is a very flexible instrument. I can play acoustically or with backing tracks. I also offer electric violin. My music would be suitable for most kinds of events.

Can you help me with choice of music?

Of course, you choose the style you would like and any songs/pieces you would especially like and you can leave the rest to me.  I have an ever-expanding list of songs available.

When should I book?

I can get very busy, so please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. A deposit is required to secure your date.
